We ran into Will's friends Ben and Adam on the way. Will gave a little cheer for the first day and then a big hug at the hugging tree.
Beth was ready for some learning sitting with her friend Amy.
After school we headed to our favorite diner, Wendy's, for lunch topped off with a chocolate malt and Will's birthday pancake cake.
School had begun and now it was time for soccer. Will's first season of AYSO and the Wave Ninjas are strutting their stuff at the opening day parade.

It may be Fall but we were still up for a baseball game. The Dodgers weren't going to be playing in October but a September game sure was fun. Evan and Mimi joined us for fun, food, and just the right number of game balls.
Yep, Summer was over but lots of Fall fun was just around the corner!
