October Firsts

I know it's the middle of November but I'm still trying to catch up with last month. October was a big month around here with lots of firsts. In addition to Beth's 1st birthday, she had her first trick or treating and Will had his first day at pre-school, his first pony ride and went to his first college football game! HALLOWEEN was a blast! The kids dressed up as the Incredible kids, Dash and Jack Jack, as usual Violet was nowhere to be seen. Before setting out for trick or treating we played a little super hero baseball with Buzz Lightyear (our neighbor, Dominic) Time for trick or treating! Beth LOVES her pink pumpkin and (shocker) Will LOVES candy! We made it to about 4 houses before there was a candy break. (The other Incredible walking into the picture is Mr. Incredible, our neighbor Brandon.)

Soon enough she was back on her feet and ready to roll. She lasted for about 15 houses and then retired to our house while Dash was joined by Princess Tinkerbell (Morgan), but Tink's mommy has all of those pics.

Before the big day we went to a pumpkin patch and Will picked out pumpkins for him & Beth and went for a pony ride. Beth enjoyed watching him ride as much as he enjoyed riding. Earlier in the month, Will went to his first college football game with Daddy and Uncle Marmy. He's a rookie so we started him out slow with a PAC 10 game at the Rose Bowl, UCLA vs. Stanford. Our biggest news is that Will started pre-school 2 days a week. The first day was so hectic that I barely got a picture before he headed off. He's really enjoying his school, especially the "park" (the great outside play area) and Cuddles the guinea pig. He has his share toy, Superman, and is ready to go! It was a very good month!
